Faculty & Researchers Win 2025 IEEE Transactions on Computers Best Paper Award

A research team comprising Pingyi Huo, Theodore Michailidis, Yi Zheng, Prapti Panigrahi, Kiwan Maeng, Jishen Zhao, and Vijaykrishnan Narayanan has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Best Paper Award by the IEEE Computer Society Publications Board for their publication in IEEE Transactions on Computers.

Their paper, titled “SVDE: Serverless Framework for Low-Latency Video Analytic Queries With Hardware Disaggregation,” tackled critical latency bottlenecks in video analytics by leveraging disaggregated hardware within a serverless framework.
