We are delighted to welcome Professor Christopher Fletcher, Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, who is joining the PRISM Center. Professor Fletcher is a leading researcher in computer architecture with broad interests spanning security and domain-specific acceleration. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at UIUC, completed a research postdoctoral appointment at NVIDIA, earned his Ph.D. from MIT, and received his B.S. from UC Berkeley. His research advances hardware and software security, uncovers new classes of microarchitectural vulnerabilities, and introduces new abstractions for accelerator design, with significant impact across cryptography, processor verification, and specialized hardware systems.
