The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is pleased to welcome Dr. Sourav Dutta as an Assistant Professor, who joined UT Dallas in Fall 2023 and is joining the PRISM Center. Dr. Dutta brings extensive experience from academia and industry, including prior roles at the University of Notre Dame and Intel, and is the recipient of the 2023 Texas Instruments Early Career Award. His research spans novel nanoelectronic devices, in-memory and neuromorphic computing, and emerging hardware for AI, machine learning, and quantum computing, with publications in leading journals such as Nature Electronics and Nature Communications. We are excited to have Dr. Dutta contribute to UTD’s growing strength in advanced materials, devices, and next-generation computing through his involvement with PRISM.
