The SRC supported NeuroSim open-source simulation framework won the Donald O. Pederson Best Paper Award. The prestigious award recognizes the best paper published in IEEE’s Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems (IEEE TCAD), the flagship journal of the IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA).
The research, led by recent Ph.D. Graduate Xiaochen Peng and ECE Professor Shimeng Yu, proposes an end-to-end benchmark framework to evaluate state-of-the-art compute-in-memory (CIM) accelerators.
